Omri Shefet is a student at
Frank McCourt High School. He is 17 years old. Omri went to East Side Middle
School before coming to FMHS. He was an average student in his middle school. A
very interesting about him is that there was an article about him in the New
York Times. He knew a lot about sports. This is something that he is proud of.
Today, Omri he have great grades and is always seeking to improve them. He
enjoys being successful by pushing himself to the limit. He is content with his
current grades but will always wants to improvement. It is goal to improve over
the years of high school.
One memory that will always be
with Omri is when it was the first day of math and he helped students during
his freshmen year. This moment will stick with him because in my middle school
he was not the best student, but coming into high school he became a great
student especially in math. Omri is happy about this because he wants to
succeed all the time.
Another memory that
Omri has from his sophomore year is he demonstrated his full knowledge of
the Israel-Palestine conflict to his teacher and peers. Omri's family is from
Israel. And for him it was very important to demonstrate how much knowledge of
the subject he has to everyone, due to this conflict being very important to
him and something that he does care about.
A memory from his
junior year is when he interned at the World Gold Council. Omri has started to
show a demonstrated interest in business. When he obtained this internship, he
was very ecstatic due to him started to gain a real world experience and bean
to realize that all of the basic things he learned in high school is used in
the real world.
